Brené Brown Ph.D. LMSW is an American scientist, author, and public speaker. She is currently a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. For the past 10 years she has conducted research on topics of vulnerability, courage, authenticity, empathy and shame. In the series of videos below she elaborates on this.
She has written books such as The Gifts of Imperfection (2010) and Daring Greatly (2012), and has appeared extensively on PBS, NPR, TED, and CNN.
